PPTP VPN For Ubuntu
PPTP VPN Setup On Ubuntu 10.04
Configure PPTP connection
1. Select Network Manager
2. Go to VPN Connections and then Configure VPN
3. As VPN Connection Type we choose Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP)
4. Name the new connection NameOfVPN
5. As gateway we enter the VPN server hostname or IP address
6. Enter the VPN username and password
7. Click Apply
8. Close Network Manager
Connect to PPTP VPN
1. Click the Connection icon
2. Choose VPN connections
3. Select the VPN Name and start to connect
