The service does not work under Linux. The connection established, but the traffic does not go through, even not the ping. Can not browse any page, including the advertised service homepage.
(I have bual boot machine, and it works ok using XP)

Email to the given info@freeopenvpn.com address comes back with “address rejected”

I call it a good start for a trial service ;-)

Can anyone help me with Ubuntu Linux vpn connection to this service? (beyond the instructions on the page which I followed)

    Kind regards,
    Gabor

Run the program with elevated rights as an administrator. Then, the program will not only connect succesfully, but this way Windows will be able to connect too!
