Free VPN Service from Hong Kong
WePN – a new free VPN service provider from Hong Kong, now open their VPN testing program. You can easily get a free pptp VPN account from their website. Unfortunately, if you’re located in mainland China, wePN VPN has been blocked by the Great Firewall of China. WePN will not provide VPN service to users in Mainland China in the future.
The website of WePN VPN is written in both English and Chinese. Before participating in the wePN VPN testing program you must accept and take note of their statements. WePN do not guarantee the stability and availability of the service since it is in a testing state. You can not use the service for P2P file sharing and media streaming such as BitTorrent and PPStream. All users’ upload and download bandwidth are limited for better quality of service. Your IP address and register time wil be logged for survey and analysis once you connected to the VPN server.

What type of VPN? Many commercial clients such as Cisco have a setting that does just that. If you’re trying to do it with the Microsoft vpn connection, you’ll have to set it up as a service.

Be carefull! First; it is closed for China mainland. Secondly, Google Chrome warns firmly when entering the site. Not always, but there ARE mallware activities on the site… Putting this with paranoid and not-amused Chines government… Take your pick, who needs Hong Kong IP anyway

They use Clicksor ads on their website. We can say that is mallware .

I just used this to activate an asian cd key from australia. the link even has a pre configured client to use. first time using a vpn and took me 2 minutes. awesome.
